Roane Co. Emergency Squad (RCES) is immediately accepting applications for three full time, highly skilled and motivated Paramedics. Applicants are required to hold a current West Virginia EMT-P or NREMT-P level certification in good standing or have means to obtain West Virginia certification through reciprocity.

Applicants must either be certified or obtain certification within 6 months
• EVOC – Emergency Vehicle Operations Course
• BLS HCP – Basic Life Support Healthcare Provide
• ACLS – Advance Cardiac Life Support
• PALS – Pediatric Advance Life Support
• ITLS or PHTLS
• WVOEMS C3IFT endorsement or higher

Applicants must be professional, reliable, and possess good verbal and written communication skills.

In addition applicants must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving history, be willing to subject to a criminal background check, and must also pass a drug test.
