30 Day Comment Documents

 

In compliance with Legislative Rule §64CSR48 9.1.2.b. the West Virginia Office of
Emergency Medical Services Educational Policies and Procedures - 2022 Revision is
hereby submitted for a thirty-day public comment period from April 25, 2022, through
December 27, 2021, through May 25, 2022.

In compliance with Legislative Rule §64.48.9.1.2.b, the following policy and protocols are hereby submitted for a thirty (30) day comment period.

 

At this time there are no items out for 30 day comment.  Announcement will be made via email when there is an item or items to review for 30 day comment.  Thank you for your time, and for all you do to protect the citizens of West Virginia.


The policy and protocols were drafted by the EMSAC and approved for 30-day comment by the MPCC.  Once all comments have been received and reviewed, a final draft will be submitted for approval by the Commissioner of the Bureau for Public Health.

9.1.2.b.  Whenever any changes in protocol, medication and procedure, scope of practice, or policy and procedure as authorized in paragraph 9.1.2.a. are proposed, a notice of the proposal will be electronically mailed to each EMS Agency and the full text of proposed changes in protocol, medication and procedure, scope of practice, or policy and procedure, will be published on the OEMS website. Notice of the proposed changes in protocol, medication and procedure, scope of practice, or policy and procedure as authorized in paragraph 9.1.2.a., is subject to a 30-day public comment period prior to their being effective. However, the MPCC may waive the public comment period when it finds that exigent circumstances exist and that the proposed changes in protocol, medication and procedure, scope of practice, or policy and procedure must be implemented immediately to ensure patient safety
