Chief of Operations for the Hampshire County Emergency Medical Services Agency. This position will work under the daily supervision of the HSEM management in addition to the HCESA Advisory Committee and report to the Hampshire County Commission. The successful candidate will be required to: Manage day to day operations of the paid EMS providers in Hampshire County. Make sure all equipment is maintained and ready for service. Establish schedules and manage personnel. Write and follow protocols and procedures and required by the WVOEMS. Strong oral and written communications skill a must. Job requirements: Must have or be able to obtain in the first 6 months a WV certification as a paramedic. 5 years minimum experience as a paramedic. Management experience. Scheduling experience. Valid WV Driver’s License. EVOC. NIMS 100, 200, 700 and 800. NIMS 300 and 400 required or must be obtained as soon as class is available.
