Rural Emergency Trauma Institute
The West Virginia Medical Coordination Center in Flatwoods is accepting resume’s for per diem communicators. This position is responsible for communications between EMS providers and hospital emergency departments, providing medical direction in accordance with state protocols and organizational policies and procedures. Position prefers a minimum of three year 911 EMS experience, and requires current, maintained and unrestricted WV Paramedic certification, ACLS, PHTL or ITLS, PALS or PEPP, CPR. Successful candidates must project a demeanor that is helpful and pleasant, as well as attention to detail. Must be comfortable with using basic computer applications such as MS office.
Shifts are 8a-8p & 8p-8a and will include days, nights, weekends and holidays. The center is managed by the Rural Emergency Trauma Institute, and provides a nice salary range and excellent work environment. Resumes can be emailed to greg.burd@wvreti.org
