JCESA is currently accepting applications for the positions of Paramedic/Firefighter and EMT/Firefighter. Both positions are responsible for providing excellent prehospital care, performing fire suppression and prevention activities, and various other duties to assist our volunteer partners in serving the citizens and guests of Jefferson County, WV.
Required Qualifications:
• WV Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic certification (Out of state or national EMS certification will be considered if applicant is able to obtain WV certification within 60 days.)
• WV Firefighter I or accepted equivalent
• Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC)
• Healthcare Provider CPR Certification
• NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800
• Current driver’s license
• At least twenty-one (21) years of age
• United States Citizen
