Hardy County Emergency Ambulance Authority
Position: Paramedic
Location: Hardy County, WV
Duties: Job duties include, but are not limited to, responding to emergency calls within Hardy County and surrounding areas. The Paramedic will be responsible for providing care within their scope of practice, while transporting patients to the hospital. To include advance life support assessments, treatments, and interventions. The Paramedic will be responsible for completing a EPCR after each run. The Paramedic duties will also include those of the Emergency Vehicle Operator, The Emergency Medical Technician and all other duties as assigned by the HCEAA board and/or director.
Requirements:
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have high school diploma or GED
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have a WV EMS certification at the level for which they are applying
• Must be able to lift +50ibs unassisted
• Paramedics must have current BCLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, PHTLS or ITLS
Schedule: We work a 24/48 schedule with a Kelly Day.
Salary/benefits: Starting will be $16.00/hours, with 8 hours scheduled overtime weekly. 100% company paid employee insurance, with family coverage available-premium paid by employee. Paid vacation and sick leave.
