Doddridge County Ambulance Authority

The Doddridge County Ambulance Authority is seeking a Chief of Operations that will lead and provide oversight to the agency primarily responsible for the delivery of advanced pre-hospital emergency medical care. Doddridge County Ambulance Authority consists of 40+ career staff.

The EMS Chief provides leadership, direction, and support for: the provision of manpower (retention and recruitment, human resources); development of policies; management of departmental budgets and finances; performance of liaison activities with related state, local and federal agencies; continuous and open communication with other public safety agencies including Emergency Communications, Fire, Police, and Information Technology; logistics; gathering and analysis of data and research; and development of programs.
Regulation and Enforcement - Provides the oversight of medical control to ensure medical protocols are followed.

Requirements
Highly qualified candidates will preferably hold a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or (5) years of management experience; or higher level education and experience equivalent to twelve (12) years in a related field, with five (5) years at the program management or administrator level.
