The Rural Emergency Trauma Institute is accepting resume’s for the position of Per Diem Medical Command Communicator.

The position is located in Braxton County, Flatwoods WV.

Medical Command Communicators are a vital link in the EMS system in West Virginia. Ideally the individual selected for this position will possess the minimum qualifications, and sound clinical judgment.

Salary is commensurate with experience, however we offer an attractive salary and work environment.

Must be available and willing to work days nights holidays and weekends. Shifts run from 8am-8pm 8pm-8am

High School diploma or GED is required. Certified in WV as a paramedic and working without restrictions or under any suspensions. Must have and maintain a current ACLS PALS or PEPP CPR ITLS or PHTLS. Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check.
A Minimum of 2 years experience as a field paramedic, in an active 911 system. A complete job description will be provided to applicants when interviewed.
