Jefferson County Emergency Services Agency
The Jefferson County Emergency Services Agency (JCESA) is now accepting applications to test for the positions of EMT/Firefighter and/or Paramedic/Firefighter. These positions could consist of full time and part time employment within our Agency. It’s our intent to create an eligibility list from this process for future employment. The individuals that successfully satisfy all the requirements will remain on a list of eligible candidates for a period not to exceed two years in the event of an opening(s) occur for employment.
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid West Virginia EMT or West Virginia Paramedic certification at time of application. In addition some fire training requirements are mandated for these positions.
