Child Passenger Safety Seat Recertification Course
The Child Passenger Safety Program is sponsoring two 32-hour Nationally Certified Child Passenger Safety Recertification Courses.
Introduction to Low Angle Rope Rescue in the Wilderness Medicine Environment
This course is designed to introduce the Wilderness Rescuer to the BASIC concepts of low-angle or steep-scree rope work that might be needed to move an injured person to a safer environment.

Every year Americans look forward to summer vacations, family reunions, picnics, and the Fourth of July. Summertime, however, also brings fires and injuries due to outdoor cooking and recreational fires. Annually, almost 3,800 Americans are injured by charcoal or gas grill fires.

Fireworks Safety
“ANY fireworks-type materials are dangerous,” states State Fire Marshal Sterling Lewis, Jr. “Even sparklers can burn hot enough to melt gold and cause third-degree burns. Basically, there is no such thing as safe fireworks.”
