- The Washington County, Maryland Sheriff's Office utilized FirstNet services to support the county's response and recovery efforts related to the recent flash flooding. Read local press coverage here.
- On Memorial Day, we pay tribute to all the men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice on behalf of their country. From First Responder Network Authority CEO Mike Poth's message to employees on Friday: "On Memorial Day and every day, we honor those who gave their lives to protect our United States. We also thank those military men and women - including many of our FirstNet colleagues - whose past and current service keeps our country safe and free."
- The First Responder Network Authority also participated in National Public Works Week with the Public Safety Advisory Committee (PSAC) member association American Association of Public Works (APWA). Read APWA's profile here.

On the Road
- In conjunction with Public Safety Communications Europe (PSCE), the First Responder Network Authority held the second annual International Public Safety Broadband Leaders forum for government executives last week in Brussels, Belgium. Chief Technology Officer and Operations Director Jeff Bratcher represented the First Responder Network Authority in sessions with representatives from 20 other nations. Read the press release here.
- First Responder Network Authority Board member Kevin McGinnis and PSAC Chair Paul Patrick presented on FirstNet connected EMS at the National Association of State EMS Officials (NASEMSO) Annual Meeting in Providence, Rhode Island.
- Also in Providence, First Responder Network Authority staff presented on the FirstNet-connected next generation officer at the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Communications & Technology Conference.
- The First Responder Network Authority tribal team met with the Central California Tribal Chairmen's Association in Corning. In addition, the team participated in a meeting of the Bureau of Indian Affairs' Tribal-Interior Budget Council in Washington, DC.
