Rebecca "Becky" Lynn Moore, 47, of Parkersburg, died Friday, September 9, 2016, at Camden Clark Medical Center. Rebecca was born November 30, 1968 in Parkersburg, WV to Norville and Abigail Batten. She married Daniel Moore on April 1, 2004. Becky worked for St. Joseph Hospital. She loved her son very much and spending time with her family. Becky spent a lot her spare time teaching. She devoted her life to helping people so much that she was an organ donor. Rebecca "Becky" Lynn Moore, 47, of Parkersburg, died Friday, September 9, 2016, at Camden Clark Medical Center.
Rebecca was born November 30, 1968 in Parkersburg, WV to Norville and Abigail Batten.
She married Daniel Moore on April 1, 2004.
Becky worked for St. Joseph Hospital.
She loved her son very much and spending time with her family. Becky spent a lot her spare time teaching. She devoted her life to helping people so much that she was an organ donor.
Becky will be deeply missed by her husband Daniel of 12 years, son Peyton both of Parkersburg, aunt Dormal Hersman of Parkersburg, close personally family friend Becky Dearth of Belmont and family pets Luke, Cooper, Kenci and Ellie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, uncle Woodrow Hersman and cousin Donnie.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 10-11 am at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 14, 2016 11am the funeral home with Pastor Jamie Sprague officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens. Becky has dedicated over 26 years of her life working in EMS. She has been a paramedic for the last 8 years. During those years Becky has come in contact with many people who's lives have changed for the good. Not only did she serve with the Roane County Emergency Squad and the Doddridge County Emergency Squad, but also served on Wood County Rescue. She served as Medical Examiner for multiple counties across the state, and was also a RESA 5 and RESA 7 instructor. Becky has taught many people throughout her years, and created wonderful TMT's. Becky will be truly missed by all.
