Help Create a Bold New Agenda for the Future of EMS
Application process to serve on the EMS Agenda 2050 Technical
Expert Panel to open in January
In 2017, the EMS community will embark on an effort to create a new
vision for the future of the nation's EMS system, more than twenty
years after the publication of the landmark original EMS Agenda
for the Future.
The new initiative, Agenda 2050: Envisioning the Future of EMS,
will be a collaborative project with many opportunities for public
participation. A Technical Expert Panel (TEP) with members from
diverse professional backgrounds will be selected to steer the
project, lead the drafting of the new Agenda, and gather important
input from the EMS community and the public. A description of the
role and responsibilities of TEP members is available online.
Those interested in serving on the EMS Agenda 2050 Technical Expert
Panel will need to complete an application online. The application
process will open Monday, January 9th and will close on Monday,
January 30th. Those interested in applying are encouraged to begin
preparing now for the 3-week application window. Applicants will be

expertise and experience (500-800 words)
-
A description of how the applicant would contribute to the
development of a panel that meets the characteristics described in
the TEP description (400-600 words)
