West Virginia Mission: Lifeline
EMS ECG STEMI Training

The American Heart Association Mission: Lifeline in West Virginia cordially invites you to learn from the American Heart Association and from an expert in the field of ECG & STEMI recognition, Mr. Tim Phalen of ECG Solutions, Inc., a well-known and respected speaker. The course will include 2 learning tracks offered two days in order to give each first responder the opportunity to attend. The morning track session will be "12-Leads Made Easy: The Basics of STEMI Recognition", and the afternoon track session with be "Beyond the STEMI Basics" which will be a more advanced class.

  • Cost: Free
  • Who Should Attend: EMS staff, Emergency Department Staff - nurses, medical residents, physicians (especially staff from critical access hospitals)
  • When: July 8 and 9, 2015 - the same 2 classes are being offered both days so that more people can attend
    • Morning: 12-Leads Made Easy: 8:00am - 12:00pm
    • Afternoon: Beyond the STEMI Basics: 1:00pm - 5:00pm
    • Lunch will be provided for all attendees from 12:00pm-1:00pm

  • Continuing Education: Approved for 8 hours of Continuing Education through WVOEMS for EMT-P (when you attend the morning and afternoon sessions)
