Caring for the Special Pediatric Patient Symposium

"Children are not small adults" and among the pediatric patient population there are special needs children who present unique problems for the providers of emergency care.

Child abuse is unfortunately widespread in our society and often emergency health care providers have more than one opportunity to intervene, End of life decisions are difficult even in the elderly population but are particularly problematic for families with terminally ill children. All of these important topics will be covered in this intensive one-day seminar.

The seminar will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2014 from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM at the Days Hotel and Conference Center, in Sutton WV

Please refer all questions to  Vicki Hildreth at 304-558-3956 or Email: vicki.l.hildreth@wv.gov
