In order to ease the transition process for West Virginia's National Registry EMT-B and EMT -P personnel to National Registry EMT and Paramedic, the West Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services would like to submit the following information:
- Any currently certified West Virginia and Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician - Basic that applies for an up-grade will have met all state requirements necessary to up-grade to an Emergency Medical Technician.
- Any currently certified West Virginia and Nationally Reg istered Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic that applies for an up-g rade will have met all state requirements necessary to up-grade to a Paramedic.
