EMS Instructor Course offered at Pierpont Community and Technical College

The National Association of EMS Educators (NAEMSE), in conjunction with Pierpont Community and Technical College, will offer the Level One EMS Instructor Course on July 12 to July 14, 2013 at the Falcon Center Conference Room on the Pierpoint Campus. Classes start at 8:00 AM and end 5:00 PM daily. Enrollment is limited to 100 participants.

The Medical Policy Care and Committee Meeting will be held on Friday, April 19 at the Medical Coordination Center (MCC) Sutton, WV.

Agency Medical Director Approval Process Policy Released

To ensure consistent standards and procedures for approving an Agency Medical Director in West Virginia, the Office of Emergency Medical Services has released a policy to establish requirements for selection , approval and education of Agency Medical Directors in their role and responsibilities as part of the WVEMS Medical Direction System.
