Workforce Section Chief

The West Virginia Office of EMS is currently seeking applicants for the position of WORK FORCE SECTION CHIEF.

This position will oversee the operation of the Office's Workforce Development Section. This section will plan and coordinate multiple strategies to help ensure an adequate number of qualified providers are available to meet the needs of the EMS community.

The position will also be responsible for the implementation and enforcement of Education, Training, and Testing Standards. Close collaboration with secondary and post-secondary education institutions will be required to ensure quality EMS education opportunities are available statewide.

Additionally, this person is responsible to plan and implement EMS recruitment and retention programs within West Virginia and in coordination with other states in the region.
