EPCR October 31 Deadline

The October 31st deadline for ALL agencies to be submitting electronic patient care records is quickly approaching. This deadline was established by a memo issued on August 23, 2008 by Dr. Ramsey and has remained constant throughout the implementation process.

Legislative Rule requires EMS providers to comply with reporting requirements as established by the commissioner, and as of the October 31 deadline paper-based patient care records will no longer be an acceptable report format.

If your agency has not made switch to EPCRs, you are encouraged to make the necessary arrangements as soon as possible. If you are awaiting vendor approval it is allowable for you to submit PCRs via the provided web application until such time as your vendor is approved.
