EMS Day at the Legislature

On Monday, March 23, 2009, various EMS agencies from around the state spent the day at the WV Capitol. The annual "EMS Day at the Legislature" is coordinated by the WV EMS Coalition in an effort to encourage EMS providers to take their concerns and issues to the members of the Legislature. Additionally, it serves as public education opportunity to share information about EMS and its roles and responsibilities with Legislative members and staff as well as members of the general public. Several agencies placed displays throughout the Capitol and had staff available to answer questions. Thanks to all the folks who took time from their busy schedules to make this day a success.
