The Office provides medical command support and coordinates squad operations during Bridge Day at the New River Gorge Bridge.

Towering 876 feet above the New River, the bridge is the the second highest vehicle bridge in the United States (surpassed by the Royal Gorge Bridge in Colorado) and until 2003 was the longest steel-arch bridge in the world. Bridge Day attracts thousands of visitors annually to watch a multitude of rappelling, BASE jumping, and ascending events.
